On March 5th-7th, 2015, South Aiken High School students participated in the All-State Chorus Weekend at Winthrop University. Adam Beckum, Colin Eichelberger, and Darec Longfellow auditioned and were selected for this prestigious group. The boys worked with Dr. Dan Bara, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Georgia and Dr. Deanna Joseph, Director of Choral Activities at Georgia State University. We are very proud that they were selected to represent South Aiken High School!

Registration for 11-12th grade is May 20 – 26, 2015

Registration for 9-10th grades is May 27th – June 3rd

Teacher of the month The February teacher of the month is  Commander Laughlin.  He is the most positive person in this building.  He encourages students and faculty members.  He is organized and provides a focus for his students, as well as works to assist them in planning their future.  Commander Laughlin knows how to lead and is always a TEAM Player!!

Tutoring
 

Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in the media center. Tuesday tutoring will provide assistance in English and Thursday tutoring will provide assistance in Math. Students may also use the computers for school research on either of the days.

June 17th (Wednesday)- Open House, beginning at 8:15 am until…Parents are welcome to spend the day and eat lunch with their child.

July 1st (Wednesday)- Elementary Showcase at 7:00 pm

July 2nd- (Thursday)- Elementary program ends, 1/2 day dismissal at 12:00 pm

July 8th- (Wednesday)- Middle/High Showcase at 7:00 pm

July 9th- (Thursday)- Middle/High program ends, 1/2 day dismissal at 12:00 pm
